Three leaders in oil and gas decommissioning have launched a new company – Fairfield Decom – which aims to combine operator knowledge with the expertise and capabilities of major offshore decommissioning contractors.
Leveraging the expertise and assets of Decom Energy, Heerema Marine Contractors and AF Offshore Decom, the group will form a unique late-life operations and decommissioning operator capable of providing an all-encompassing solution for ageing offshore oil and gas assets, primarily in the UK Continental Shelf (UKCS).
