Well Academy’s Strong Start to 2026 with Contract Wins

14 April 2026

Well Academy, a sister company of Moduspec, has enjoyed a strong start to 2026 in the Europe, Middle East & Africa region, securing a series of contract awards for specialist technical training valued at over £500,000.

The contract awards wins will see delivery of specialist training programmes in Aberdeen, Apeldoorn, Stavanger and Milan, as well as at an associate centre in Mozambique. Well Academy is also experiencing increased demand for International Well Control Forum (IWCF) accredited Drilling Well Control and Well Intervention Pressure Control training, resulting in additional course dates being added to the schedule.

Early 2026 also marked the relaunch of the Subsea Engineer Programme (SEP), delivered in Apeldoorn. The three-module programme was last delivered in 2012 and has been updated for modern blow out preventer (BOP) and well control equipment. The SEP is well regarded in the industry by subsea engineers looking to develop their technical knowledge and support career progression.

“Our team brings deep technical expertise across a wide range of specialist training, from rig equipment and complex subsea BOP systems to IWCF accredited well control programmes for drilling and wells professionals. This capability is further strengthened through access to specialist insight from our sister company ModuSpec, allowing us to deliver training that reflects real-world operational challenges and supports client requirements.”
