Industrial training services provider AIS Survivex is a finalist in the Oscars of the wind industry world – the GWO Awards. The category is “Training Team of the Year for Europe”, which AIS Survivex won last year.
Global Wind Organisation (GWO) is the leading training body for the global wind industry and its annual awards acknowledge the best of the best amongst the world’s wind training providers.
The company, which is part of 3t Energy Group, has been delivering GWO training since 2015 and has Renewables Training Centres of Excellence in Newcastle and Aberdeen. With one in every three wind trainees passing through its doors, AIS Survivex is the biggest supplier of wind training in the UK.
AIS Survivex is also holding a competition of its own: it is looking for photographs that “celebrate and showcase some of the beautiful and dramatic backdrops seen by its customers every day.” The deadline for submissions is September 9.
Anyone working in the energy sector – from oil rig workers to wind technicians and power plant engineers – is being encouraged to enter. The owner of the winning image will be able to choose from more than 450 training courses and training locations in Scotland and northeast England.
