The search is on for the offshore energy industry’s brightest stars as Offshore Energies UK (OEUK) invites nominations for its 2024 annual award ceremony, sponsored by Shell U.K. Limited.
The OEUK Awards aim to celebrate the outstanding achievements of businesses and individuals from the offshore energy sector, including oil, gas, wind, hydrogen and carbon capture and storage.
This year, an expert panel of judges will decide on the winner of a brand-new category: People & Culture. This award recognises the organisations that nurture their workforce and take proactive steps to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
The Neighbour of the Year award will also be making a comeback, focusing on companies that exemplify exceptional corporate social responsibility and community engagement. Guests will be encouraged to live-vote for the winner on the night.
In total, eight champions will be awarded. The event will take place at the P&J Live in Aberdeen on November 28 from 6.30pm. To book your place, visit: oeukawards.co.uk.
Information about the categories and how to nominate is available here. The deadline for nominations is July 29, 2024.
Nominations for the OEUK Award for Excellence in Decommissioning (Operator and Supply Chain categories) are also now open with a deadline of 29 July. These awards will be presented at the gala dinner during OEUK’s Offshore Decommissioning Conference on 19 November.
