A workforce report published February 18 has highlighted the rising age of the oil and gas sector.
The Engineering Construction Industry Training Board’s (ECITB) Workforce Census sectoral report gathered data on more than 33,000 workers.
It found that it has the oldest workforce in the ECI, with only 12% of workers under 30 and workers over 50 making up 41% of the oil and gas workforce.
