Bespoke solutions provider RMI has signed a charter to improve the mental health of North Sea workers, it said September 5. The initiative is being led by the North Sea Chapter of the International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC).
RMI said it was “committed to staying at the forefront of medical service provision and we are delighted to be a signatory of this charter.” Mental health is as important as physical health in the workplace, it added.
Other signatories include Noble, the Port of Aberdeen and Borr Drilling.
The charter creates a framework that organisations can adopt throughout the industry, forming a universal, joined up approach. A more detailed version of this charter is available at https://www.iadc.org/chapters/north-sea.
