J+S Subsea joins Legasea and ITC Hydraulics and Manufacturing as finalists in the 2023 Subsea Expo Company of the Year (under 50 employees) award, it said late December.
Managing director Phil Reid said: “News of the award nomination rounds off a brilliant year for us. It’s been one of strong growth which relies on the dedication and expertise of our team.” He added that while the decision to launch J+S Subsea in 2020 had felt risky, the company was moving from strength to strength, using new technology to develop markets and win contracts.
The awards ceremony, organised by the Global Underwater Hub, takes place on February 22, at P&J Live in Aberdeen. The awards celebrate the companies and individuals leading the way in the UK’s £8bn underwater industry.
