Norwegian Aker Solutions has appointed a senior manager, Paal Eikeseth, as executive vice president of its Electrification, Maintenance and Modifications (EMM) business segment. He will report to CEO Kjetel Digre when he takes up his position April 1, the company said March 24.
“We are enhancing the business and the financial results, and we are in parallel also growing the organization within selected strategic areas. When Paal now joins the executive management team with responsibility for the EMM business segment, he also brings with him extensive change management and industry experience which will be essential for how we will strategically develop our activities,” Digre said.
A Norwegian citizen, he worked for several years in PwC before joining Aker Solutions. He said he was “very motivated to step into this new role.” He said Aker Solutions had “world-leading expertise for delivering safe electrification, maintenance and modification projects, and we have knowledge and solutions to reduce the environmental footprint.”
