Hunting is now progressing Organic Oil Recovery (OOR) technology within the UKCS, Europe and Asia Pacific regions. This follows a collaboration agreement signed between Hunting and US-based enhanced oil recovery (EOR) company, Titan Oil Recovery, earlier in 2018.
Hunting describes the OOR process as a unique form of microbial EOR which can optimise reservoir performance and recovery rates. The process involves stimulating the growth of native microbes within producing reservoirs allowing for oil to move more freely. Read more…
