    The Commercial Managers Forum (CMF) exists to provide sustainable leadership for developing and embedding the collaborative and problem-solving commercial behaviours needed to efficiently deliver MER UK.

  • Decommissioning Forum
    The overall aim of the Decommissioning Forum is to discuss relevant decommissioning issues, share best practices, interact with other industry stakeholders, interact with other OEUK Forums, provide a networking opportunity and provide the regulators with a space to test policy areas.

  • Decommissioning North Sea Trade Association Collaboration
    The North Sea Trade association decommissioning collaboration group is set up to regularly engage, inform, share, ensure alignment, and avoid duplication across North Sea trade associations.

  • The Decommissioning Operators Technical Group
    A focussed forum for operators.  The aim of the forum is to discuss detailed technical issues surrounding decommissioning and allow a forum for specialist knowledge to be shared.

  • Exploration Manager’s Special Interest Group
    This group will work to identify opportunities where industry can work together, without the OGA, to improve exploration and appraisal activity, avoiding replication of work being undertaken elsewhere, and will provide input to the MER Exploration Taskforce as appropriate.

  • FPSO Network
     To provide a pan-industry, regular network where issues of common interest, relevant experiences and incidents can be aired and discussed to share good practise and enable the sharing of lessons learned (operator and supply chain – regulators invited on occasion).

  • Reserves Progression
    The UKCS expected Recovery Factor has remained unchanged for over 10 years. The level of decline in UKCS reserves base is high and in the field-determined areas, there is a contingent resource base of 2.1 B boe, according to industry.

  • Reservoir and Wells Optimisation Task Finish Group
    The Reservoir and Wells Optimisation Task Finish Group identifies, communicates and promotes methods to ensure the addresses the maximisation of production from the existing industry well stock in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

  • Southern North Sea Operators Forum
    Comprised of Southern North Sea area managers and operations managers, the SNS Ops forum looks to create an effective network of SNS Operations managers through increased cooperation and collaboration.

  • Well Decommissioning Operator Network
    To provide a formal body through which members’ representatives can share best practices, review decommissioning cross-industry issues, create and resource task finish groups (“TFGs”) for any specific tasks, interact with other industry stakeholders, OEUK Forums and regulators, and prepare recommendations/guidelines for consideration of the Wells Forum members [operator only at this time].

  • Well Services Contractors Network
    A subset of the wells forum, the objective of the wells services contractors network is to provide a formal body through which well service providers can discuss shared industry challenges and identify possible solutions, to share best practices and lessons learned.

  • Wells Forum
    The objective of the forum is to provide a formal body through which members’ representatives can share best practices, review well life cycle cross-industry issues, create and resource task finish groups (“TFGs”) for any specific tasks, interact with other industry stakeholders, OEUK Forums and regulators, and to prepare recommendations/guidelines for consideration of the OEUK Board and members.

  • Wells Guidelines Task Finish Group
    The Wells Forum is part of a project team with at least one dedicated resource to compile a series of well life cycle integrity guidelines like the Guidelines for the suspension and abandonment of wells.
